Restoration of migratory waterbird habitats - Togo

The project aimed to highlight the multifaceted and multidimensional roles of migratory birds through an awareness-raising tour. In addition, it presented sustainable alternatives to fishing and farming practices through a training to target communities. An intervention in form of a reforestation activity took place where a 3 hectares strip was planted to restore migratory waterbird habitat in the area.
