National training workshop for ornithologist trainees and conservationists on the Flyway approach and waterbird monitoring in Guinea

In collaboration with AEWA, a regional training of trainer (ToT) workshop was held in Cotonou, Benin, focusing on flyway conservation and the sustainable use of waterbirds and wetlands. The aim was to provide ornithologists and nature conservators with information on wetlands and waterbird habitat conservation, waterbird identification, counting and data collection, and instruments for the protection of migratory waterbirds.
