Building capacities of local associations in the Atlantic Moroccan Sahara in waterbird identification and monitoring

Khnifiss Lagoon and Dakhla Bay are of great importance for migratory waterbirds, the promotion of ecotourism and environmental education, and the monitoring of wildlife. Two training workshops on bird identification and monitoring were supported to increase the capacity of the two local NGOs: Réseau Associations Khnifiss and Association Nature Initiative of Dakhla.
