The seminar aims to strengthen the capacity of the various stakeholders of the Environmental and Social Assessment, as a tool for the preservation of protected areas and the promotion of nature-based solutions, in Central Africa. Participants learned the general guidelines for taking into account cumulative impacts on protected areas, the important role of the Petroleum Downstream Regulatory Agency in relation to environmental protection, and the necessity of mapping as a tool for analysis and management of protected areas
