Enhancing Conservation and Sustainable Management

The Ramsar site Keta Lagoon is endowed with unique and diverse ecological habitats and wildlife species such as waterbirds and sea turtles. However, anthropogenic disturbances and lack of awareness exposed the site to numerous threats. Through this project, efforts for conservation and sustainable management of the site were supported, contributing to the restoration of degraded habitats, development of educational and awareness material, conservation education, and radio programmes on wetland conservation.
