Participatory awareness for the conservation of migratory birds in Songor Ramsar and Biosphere Reserve

Significant numbers of waterbirds depend on the Songor Ramsar site for resources and habitats. However, as these habitats are continually being degraded, comprehensive awareness and sensitization outreach activities were arranged to facilitate support to protect migratory birds and their habitats. The activities ranged from bird monitoring training, bird watching school clubs organization, and distribution of informative manuals on the threats to migratory birds.
